Todd Gardiner is currently a lieutenant with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, in Orange County, Florida and has been employed there since 1994. Lieutenant Gardiner became a state certified defensive tactics instructor in 1996, where he began teaching in the defensive tactics program at the Criminal Justice Institute at Valencia College. The Criminal Justice Institute serves as both the local police academy for the Orange County area as well as the facility for advanced specialized training. certified defensive tactics instructor, Lieutenant Gardiner also holds instructor certifications in firearms and Krav Maga hand to hand combat.
Lieutenant Gardiner also served on the Orange County Sheriff's Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) for eleven (11) years (1997-2008), five (5) years of which he was an assistant team leader. Lieutenant Gardiner has both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. |
