George Lollis

George Lollis has been a law enforcement officer since July 1991 with the Orlando Police Department, in Orlando, Florida.

Officer Lollis became a State Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor in 1993, and began teaching in the defensive tactics program at the Criminal Justice Institute at Valencia Community College in March of 1995.

The Criminal Justice Institute serves as both the local police academy for the Orange County area as well as the facility for advanced specialized training. In addition to being a Florida Department of Law Enforcement certified defensive

tactics trainer for the past fifteen years, Officer Lollis also holds instructor certifications in firearms (1994), shotgun instructor (1994), expandable baton instructor (1997), confrontational simunition instructor (2000), and Krav Maga Law Enforcement Instructor (2008).

Officer Lollis also served on the Orlando Police Department’s Emergency Response Team on the chemical agent team for twelve years. Officer Lollis has also served in both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy for over eighteen years. Officer Lollis holds an A.S. degree in Communication from The Community College of the Air Force.
