Contributions and Achievements
Dan Soto

Daniel Soto has over 21 years and 6000 hours of tactical experience with the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando Florida.

Currently assigned to the TOPS unit, he is a member of American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, NRA, NTOA, and Florida SWAT Association.

As a Team member/Grenadier with SWAT, his experience includes the service of high-risk search warrants, the safe

custody of barricaded subjects, and the resolution of hostage situations. He has been with the team for 13 years.

Dan has also worked various dignitary protection and security details, to include training the, (Uruguayan Nation Police), in South America, in 2003, 2004, and 2007 and the (Ecuadorian National Police), in 2010.

Dan has been certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to instruct General Topics along with Defensive Tactics, and Firearms.

Dan has instructed classes for Valencia Community College on these topics since 1997.
